Zoning Code Text Amendment

Description: A zoning text amendment is a change to the text in the Zoning Ordinance. A text change is a discretionary review to consider amending a specific policy language in the zoning ordinance such as the list of uses permitted in any zoning district; it could amend the setback required for a building or be an amendment which changes the size of a permitted sign.

Reviewer(s): The Planning Commission makes a recommendation and the Village Board makes the final decision

Cash deposit: In addition to the application fee, the applicant must provide an initial cash deposit to cover the Village's review costs as set forth in a written pre-development agreement. Depending on the complexities involved, the applicant may need to deposit additional funds. Any funds remaining at the end, will be returned to the applicant.
